Domaine Paul Mas owns over 850 hectares of vineyards, with 40% certified organic, and also works with 1,500 hectares of contracted partner vineyards. This allows them to blend from a remarkable selection of 45 grape varieties both native and noble sourced from a diverse array of Languedoc terroirs, making them specialists in Languedoc wines. Their expertise and creativity are reflected in their achievements, with multiple gold medals won at the 2024 International Wine and Spirit Competition. Jean Claude Mas, owner and winemaker, was born into a winemaking family in Pezenas, Languedoc. At just 3 years old, during the harvest, he escaped his mother and ran 2.5 km to the cellar to join his grandfather, an experience that sparked his lifelong passion for wine. Often hailed as a pioneer of the New Languedoc, he is part of a movement dedicated to restoring the region's former gloryan area with over 2,000 years of winemaking history.
